Digital Art Requirements

  • Supplied on Macintosh formatted Zip disks or CD-ROM.
  • Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Freehand, QuarkXPress
  • CMYK graphic art proofs such as an Iris, Chromalin, Rainbow, 3M Matchprint, Fuji Color Proof or other high quality output can be matched by our printer. (depending on the product a color proof can also be generated by our printer. Additional costs may apply).
  • For maximum accuracy specify colors with Pantone coated colors chips on solid color areas.
  • Low resolution FPO (for placement only) images may be used if the original transparencies are supplied.
  • Include BOTH screen and printer fonts or convert to paths/outlines.
  • Be sure to include ALL imported or placed graphic files.
  • You may use low resolution FPO (For Placement Only) images when you supply original transparencies or 8x10 photos for scanning.
  • Photoshop imports must be saved as EPS or TIF file formats in CMYK mode.
  • Resolution should be 300 dpi at 100% of mechanical layout size (Scale: 1/2"=1'). If layout is designed at 1/4"=1' scale the resolution should be 600 dpi.
  • Include a client-approved color proof for color matching.
  • Note: Any rescaling, high resolution scanning or color corrections on behalf of Clear Channel Outdoor will be charged back to the client.
